Macerated for 20 to 25 days Matured in vats and 20% in barrels, 4 and 5 years old.
Tasting Note
This is a ‘solar’ vintage with optimum grape maturity but, thanks to of the northern aspect of our vineyards, the wine remains well balanced. This vintage comes from a selection of parcels of Grenache and Syrah that are 20 years old. The nose is dense: well-ripened black fruits with garrigue and roasted notes. The mouth is voluminous with deep perfumes of very ripe fruit and liquorice.
Yield 40hl/ha - Should be kept for a minimum of 8 to 10 years.
Best drunk with game.
