Terroir
Places called Les Faysses, Briançon and Gaujas. Terroir of lower slopes of average altitude (150m) exposed rather north on soils made up of sand, clay and limestone gravel producing rich, deep, balanced wines. These are wines with great ageing potential.

50% Syrah, 50% Grenache
Age of the vine
35 years old.
Yield
20 Hl/ha.
Cultivation methods
Organic farming, double cordon de royat pruning, disbudding, green harvesting and pre-sorting before harvest. Alternate tillage (ploughing) and cover crops.
Winemaking
Direct pressing. Cold settling, alcoholic fermentation in demi-muids of 3 wines at 18°C.
Breeding
8 months on fine lees in demi-muids; blending before bottling.
Tasting
Beautiful pale pink color, subtle nose of wood, citrus, and small red fruits. On the palate: beautiful roundness, suppleness, and elegance. The finish of orange zest brings a lot of freshness.
