Terroir
Places called 'Les Hauts' and 'Bas Artèmes', 'Les Hauts Heyrauds'. The latest terroir with a southern exposure, on a hillside with an average altitude above 300 m. The wines produced on these soils are more structured and of a good density giving them aging potential. Mediterranean notes of pine forest and garrigue characterize them.

70% Syrah, 30% Grenache

25 Hl/ha.
Cultivation methods
Organic farming, double cordon de royat pruning, disbudding, pre-sorting before harvest. Alternate grassing and soil work (plowing).
Winemaking
100% destemmed harvest, cold pre-fermentation maceration at 7°C for 1 week, yeast addition, alcoholic fermentation for 15 days at 25°C then vatting for one week. Juice run-off, malolactic fermentation in vats.
Breeding
12 months in barrels of 2 to 3 wines for 1/3 of the volume and 2/3 remaining in vat. Blending before bottling.
Tasting
A beautiful, intense, and brilliant ruby red color. The nose gradually opens up to reveal red fruits, peppery spices, and delicate woody notes. Clear and ripe, it excels in all its creamy texture, balanced with aromas of cherry and red berries. Ample, melted tannins accompany a fresh and flavorful finish.
