Terroir
Coming from two plots of organically grown mass selection, it is the unique reflection of a terroir of limestone gravel spreading, combining power and balance. Produced only in great vintages, it is a wine for laying down, for which time will be useful for the expression of this great terroir, which is the 'Faysses' of La Citadelle.

70% Syrah, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon

Cultivation methods
Harvests are hand-picked and vinified in small stainless steel vats.

Winemaking
Traditional vinification. Cold pre-fermentation maceration for 5 days at 10°C. Alcoholic fermentation and maceration for 3 weeks with separate grape varieties. Wine run-off, malolactic fermentation and blending of the 2 grape varieties before barreling.

Breeding
Aged for 24 months in new demi-muids without filtration.

Tasting
Beautiful ruby ​​red color with bright purple highlights. The nose intensely expresses toast, violet, and black fruits. Intense, ripe tannins, volume, and length accompany the beautiful smoothness of the finish. Its strength lies in the balance between its power and finesse.
